Ukraine took the lead as the most Googled country, with 310.81 million searches and an average of 25.9 million searches per month. Interestingly, 11% of the top Google searches were for adult entertainment sites, with Pornhub ranking third. The new addition to the list was Wordle, with an impressive 547.6 million total searches and an average of 45.63 million monthly searches. top searches from January to December 2022. The lists we've compiled include
data from worldwide, the US, and the UK specifically. Our analysis includes the
average monthly search volume for the year, as well as the traffic generated by
these searches, including both organic and paid traffic, and whether or not the
searcher clicked on a paid ad. Additionally, we've looked at the average cost per
click (CPC) for each search term to capture the traffic generated.
